Guide for The Blood Pact from Farmer100

In world of warcraft,The Blood Pact is the 161st quest, released on 15 March 2010, which marked the 300 quest point total. It was the first new quest available for free players, besides tutorials, since Rune Mysteries, which was officially released in 2003. New free-to-play items were released with the quest along with the helmet of trials for members who had obtained 300 quest points. The quest also introduced a new dungeon packed with low level monsters that new players could train on. This quest marked the first appearance of a Signature hero - Xenia.

This quest is short and novice, what’s more, needs none of requirements

Items Acquired During Quest:Kayle's sling, Caitlin's staff, and Reese's sword. Reward: 100 Defence XP, 100 Strength XP,100 Attack XP, 100 Magic XP, 100 Ranged XP. Start the quest by speaking to Xenia in the Lumbridge Graveyard


1、Head to the Lumbridge Graveyard and talk to Xenia. She will tell you that some cultists of Zamorak have taken Ilona hostage and that she is too old to rescue her on her own. Offer help to her.

Note: The easiest way to reach Lumbridge is using the Home teleport spell (Requires no runes or Magic level).

2、Climb down into the catacombs and a cut scene will occur. You will find yourself in the first room of the catacombs. Walk north and Kayle will attack Xenia. Then she will tell you that she is too old to fight and ask you to clear the dangers of the following rooms.

3、Enter the room to the north and Kayle will attack you with range., Talk to him to give you his weaponry when you defeated him. Pick up Kayle's sling and equip it.

Strategy: Even though Xenia suggests that you use melee, any type of combat will work. If you have low combat level, you can use the walls in the room to avoid being hit while moving up to him. However, if you have a high combat level, you can simply charge him.

4、Go into the next room to the west where you will be attacked by a mage Caitlin. Once you have defeated her, operate the winch and go through the gate. Speak to her and tell her to give you her equipment. Pick up Caitlin's staff. Wield the staff and wind rush will be set as your attack.

Note: Even though Xenia suggests that you use ranged, magic will work too.

5、Go down either set of stairs or south to the tomb door. Open the door and tell Ilona you are here to rescue her. Then you will be attacked by Reese with melee. When you have defeated him, tell him to give you his gear and pick up Reese's sword.

Strategy: Even though Xenia suggests that you use magic, any type of combat will work. If you have low combat level, then use the table to hide to avoid his attacks.

6、Untie Ilona and you will receive your reward.

And then this quest had been completed!
